UAE offers a 10-year residency visa for investors. Expats can now apply for 10 years, Gold Card.
This step is in fulfillment of the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make UAE one of the most investor-friendly countries in the world.
Long-term visa holders can remain outside the country for as long as they wish. “They can freely come in and out of the country at their will. They are exempted from the rule which states that residents cannot be outside the UAE for more than six consecutive months,” Major-General Mohammed Al Marri, director-general of the GDRFA-Dubai, said.
Eligibilities or Requirements for obtaining a 10-year visa
A deposit of up to Dh10 million in an investment fund in the UAE.
Owner of a company with Dh10 million in capital or a partner in a company with a share of up to Dh10m.
Property/assets for the equivalent amount
Foreign investors, businessmen, and individuals with “exceptional talents and skills” can apply for the 10-year Gold Card residency scheme as long as they meet the requirements set by the government, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) announced on Tuesday.
